This book was conceived as a study on how colour is used in comic books. Focused on Watchmen, which was published between 1986 and 1987 by Alan Moore, Dave Gibbons and John Higgins, it explores its different colour harmonies and how they influence narrative.

The importance of being coloured

It not only narrates how well-used are colours in the comic, but how it has been done in all Comic History. The main part of the project was, however, a visual study on cromatic ranges and colour harmonies.

All the book contains highlights and quotes from the authors. Typography is also a big component, used as a call to action.
